10 Plans & Quotas
Prices and the current list of what each plan includes always come from the in-app Subscription page and the pricing page on our website. This page covers only the rules: how quota is counted, when you get stopped, and what to do once you have been.
1. Quota Counts Video Duration
The unit you are charged in is the duration of the video you process, in minutes — not the number of runs, and not the export resolution. Two limits apply at the same time:
- Total duration for the period: paid plans count it per billing cycle; the free tier resets every day.
- Per-video cap: one source clip cannot exceed the longest single video your plan allows. Over that, it is rejected outright, whatever balance you have left.
- The two lines count different numbers: the total duration for the period is charged in converted seconds — a clip is multiplied by the billing rate first, and expert video translation with professional voice-over is 3 times, so a 5-minute clip is charged as 15 minutes. The per-video cap, on the other hand, is measured against the real length of your clip: if the table says 15 minutes, that is 15 minutes of actual footage, with no multiplier applied.
The free tier is "2 minutes a day, 1 minute per video". Look at how that row is written on the Subscription page: it sits under the "Monthly Video Duration (minutes)" label. That label is true for the paid tiers and false for the free one, which really does reset every day. The wording is a known defect on our list; until it is fixed, this manual is the accurate version.
2. What Each Tier Gives You
| Free | Free Trial | Standard | Advanced | Professional | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Total duration | 2 minutes per day | 18 minutes | 60 minutes per month | 120 minutes per month | 600 minutes per month |

| Watermark on the export | Yes | No | No | No | No |

On the plan cards: the one you already use is marked Current Plan, the cheapest paid tier carries an Upgrade Now button, and trial codes are redeemed under Activate. Switch to Yearly and that row is tagged Save 20%. To reach a person, click Contact Us.
For a paid tier, "total duration" is the allowance inside one subscription period: the current month on monthly billing, the current year on yearly billing. The trial only lasts 7 days, so its quota is used as one total — you fall back down when it is used up or when the trial expires.
What that corner mark looks like
- A free-tier export has one line of
deepforgehub.comin the bottom-right corner (semi-transparent white text over a dark backing, always bottom-right with a small margin). It is burned into the picture by the final merge step, so Settings has no switch for it; the only way to stop it appearing is to move to a paid tier. - Free Trial, Standard, Advanced and Professional exports get no corner mark.
- Whenever the app cannot read your plan, it treats you as a free user. In other words, an export rendered while you are offline, while your login has expired, or while the subscription service is briefly unavailable can carry the mark even on a paid plan. That is not a downgrade — confirm you are signed in and online, then click Generate Video once more.
3. Trial Codes
Six digits, redeemed on the Subscription page. Three rules:
- Redeeming one puts the account on a 7-day trial: 18 minutes of total duration, 15 minutes per video.
- One time only: once you have redeemed a code you cannot claim another, and taking out a paid subscription also ends your trial eligibility.
- When the trial expires or is replaced, the account returns to the free tier. Projects and data you already have are kept.
4. What the Interface Says When You Are Stopped
The three quota messages, worded as the app shows them, and what each means:
- "Video duration quota exceeded for billing period" — the total duration for this period is used up. Wait for the reset, or upgrade.
- "Single video duration exceeds plan limit" — this clip is longer than the per-video cap. Cut it shorter, or upgrade.
- "Plan quota exceeded" — the general catch-all, usually with an upgrade prompt on top of it.
In the plan table, the tier you are on carries a Current Plan marker. Payment runs through a third-party processor; if your status has not changed right after you paid, the page offers I have completed the payment to force a check.
An expired login is a different class: "Your session has expired. Please log in again." Logging in again clears it, and it does not affect your quota.
5. Reruns Cost Quota Too
Dubbing is charged by the duration of video processed. Edit the subtitles in the editor and click Generate Video, and the whole clip is dubbed again — even if you changed one punctuation mark (see 04 Subtitle & Dubbing Editor) — and that duration is charged a second time. Settle the wording first, then generate once.
6. Payment and Refunds
The Subscription page switches between monthly and yearly billing and takes payment through a third-party processor: card, plus Alipay as an option on one-off payments. After you pay, your plan status is updated by the processor's callback together with our reconciliation — normally instantly, occasionally with a short delay. Invoicing and refunds follow what the Terms of Service page and the Subscription page publish. When something needs a human, use Report Issue in the top-right corner or write to [email protected].
